Hard anodizing on the pan surface provides greater resistance to corrosion and abrasion, hence, it is extremely durable. The hard anodized also makes the surface smooth and naturally stick-resistant.

Hard anodized pan can be easily washed with mild detergent or soap and water.  Detergents from dishwasher may discolor the surface of the pan.
